Thanks everyone, I am putting time aside for me for my sons hockey, darts and Vikings games. Need one more day in the week, wish I could add one LOL

Thank you, agreed it's not fun, sorry for your loss! He just turned 15. Playing Midget on a Club Team, High School and he plays in a Men's League. Yes. Mens League. Has been to many other states for Tournaments as well. He is a goalie. 5'8 180 pounds at 15. Has only been playing goalie for about 13 months now. Went to a goalie camp last year that was run by Brian Daccord (look him up) he was a goalie consultant for the Bruins before. Has written a few books as well. After his first session my boy went to go change and Brian came over to me and asked me how long he has been playing as he was doing pretty much everything perfectly, when I replied 4 months he couldn't believe me and gave us 2 more hour long sessions for free as he really wanted to see what he was made of and where he could go. So my youngest playing hockey is my fun time and my relaxing time. Lol

Hes not playing HS hockey? He’d be a freshman, no? Anyway, good luck on the second job you had to take to pay for his equipment!

I just bought a pair of $400 skates for my son last night but that pales in comparison to your future investments. He’s going to be a junior defenseman this year.

I would think being a goalie dad is a bit nerve-wracking. Kind of what is was like when my sone used to pitch.

You have no idea. Hahaha. He is going on his third set of pads this calendar year and third pair of skates as he keeps growing! He is going to be playing HS hockey and in a Men's League on top of his Club Team and any Tournaments or other teams that call me looking for a goalie for a game or two. He is also a goalie in lacrosse, was a catcher and pitcher in baseball but gave that sport up in favor of lacrosse. Yes. I have a second job 1-2 nights a week at the local bar as a bouncer. It's not fun but pays for a lot of things for hockey
