I have been very happy with his development, I thought peters was the better talent, but also the bigger risk and Waynes has the quicks to have the higher ceiling so I wasnt bagging to hard when they took him or even when they red shirted him his first season.@JimmyinSD said:
That is the phrase I remember. So I was pleasantly surprise when he was better than advertised.@greediron said:
it was said on him coming out that he wasnt an eager tackler, interesting to see stickies find on him because I was remembering the same thing that he wasnt all that jazzed up about sticking his nose in on the tackles.@StickyBun said:
He was known to play the run tough at Michigan State also, so its not a huge surprise to me. He's puts his nose in there for sure. Waynes has progressed nicely as a NFL CB. I thought his draft bio said he was soft against the run. I could be wrong tho, just was I thought I recalled.
He is a very willing tackler and seems to relish hitting. Rhodes on the other side is a beast as well. Built so well and likes to hit.
