27%, 4.6, 14, 1, and 17

The first number is third down conversion percentage our D is giving up...only the Broncos are currently better...honestly I'm shocked anyone was better than 27%…

4.6 is our yards per play given up on D...which is tied for third...

14 is the number of 20 yard pass plays surrender, tied for second...

1 is the number of running plays over 20 or 40 yards, which is first...

17 is ppg, which is 4th...

Basically, our D is getting off the field on 3rd down, not giving up big plays vs the pass or run, and they can't be scored upon...

4th in sacks and ints too...

The defense has finally ascended to that last level of ELITE.  The run defense has been PHENOMENAL.  Alex Collins was the current league leader in Yards per Rush...  I think it was over 6.0...  We held him to 3.0 for the game...

I don't worry about teams gashing us on the ground anymore.  When you combine that with our pass rush and all the playmakers in the secondary...  Whew.  Suffocating defense.

5/2 is nice...

D is the proud heart and soul of the Vikings again. Feels right given the history of the franchise.

Offense hopefully can continue to carry it's own water.

Am concerned about the dings on that side of the ball, especially OL.  Bye is coming for the Vikings at a good time and right before a daunting Nov/Dec schedule.
