Biggest concern heading into the season?

If I really think about it, my concern isnt their age. It's their backfills.

Fair. But I'm actually pretty excited about Jalen Redmond. The two hyphens, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and Levi Drake-Rodriguez, are unproven, so we'll have to wait and see on them. Also, and I could be totally wrong about this, but I think Tyler Batty's future could be there as well (despite virtually everyone saying he's an Edge).

My concerns are similar to others. The concern about JJM isn't whether he will succeed as much as how long it takes to master the position as a pro. However I am comforted by the thought he won't need to be a master to be successful with the team he has around him. I have concerns about the secondary and also worry about whether the new free agent class will be able to live up to their potential. Also concerned about the tough schedule.
But I'm a build from the inside out guy and have to be quite bullish on the Vikings prospects for this season. And, as with last season, I have a lot of confidence in the capabilities of the coaching staff.

I am most concerned for our packer trolls who might just have a meltdown this year when JJM surpasses their "franchise" QB.

It's the same as every season: how long it takes for the team to gel. I like the "ingredients lists", so to speak, especially after shoring up the trenches. We have some secondary questions, and we have a young'un with a ton to prove...but that's no more stressful than what we've seen before:

"Will Darnold actually be any good?"
"Will we actually protect our blue-chip QB?" (that question lasted years, with the same unfortunate answer)
"Will Bradford's knees hold up? Oops, will Keenum get consistent?"
"Is Teddy good/durable enough to take us to the next step?"

And so on.

So, while JJM is a HUGE question for us, he doesn't actually worry me more than previous years.

Good point about the free agent class. Last year we were either extremely smart or extremely lucky with our free agents, and some of them even earned themselves longer deals after just a year here. This class has a big shoes to fill! Would be incredible if they play like Greenard, Van Ginkel, Jones, et al from 2024.

iDL is almost ready for AARP cards but way better than what they were before. 

Jones will fair better with a true 60/40 split, but he’s sharing reps with a guy coming off injury. We’re a bad hammy away from extended Chandler time.

Defensive backfield is in flux with unproven starters.

OL has 60% of their starters coming off injury.

This seems pretty prophetic…
