And There’s a Flag on the Play

The Minnesota Vikings are experiencing significant penalty problems, ranking near or at the top of the NFL in penalties for the 2025 season, with issues spanning pre-snap and post-snap penalties across offense, defense, and special teams. Head coach Kevin O'Connell has publicly stated that fixing this is a priority, citing it as a controllable factor that must improve for the team to succeed.

This is uncharacteristic of KOC’s previous teams & cleaning that shit up should be a priority during the bye…!  Angry

I think we should just fire KOC. He is worthless. Horrible coach. Coach of the year to having injuries and trying to coach a JV oline to just trying to keep the offense together. Couple things from the first quarter of the year. JJ never had his line at all. Darrisaw and Addison were a massive deal and that went unnoticed. Darrisaw is the best in business. Jackson that I was extremely high on, and one other here thought so as well, is one of the best Gs in football as a rookie. Having a number 2 in this offense is far more important than people realize at WR. Addison may be a knucklehead, but he is so valuable. Something JJ also never got to experience. KOC has navigated this team to a winning record with many negatives thrown at him. Happy to see JJ come back with all of the tools that were supposed to be there at the start of season that were not.

Nice rant, but you must have missed the topic, penalties have hurt this team across the board. Sarcasm I guess, firing the coach certainly has never been a subject broached by me…  Confused

Certainly an area of concern. Just another reason I'm thankful for the early bye week to get guys reps in practice and hopefully get some of these penalties cleaned up
