Interesting first big weekend of college football. Disappointed my Irish lost, but it's not a killer in the playoff grand scheme. We were essentially an incredible one handed catch that gets intercepted 99.9% of the time away from winning. Miami's defensive line though is impressive.

For draft purposes, a guy who really jumped out to me is South Carolina receiver Nyck Harbor. 6'5"/235 pounds with track star speed, put it all on display in their win over the Hokies. Calvin Johnson type guy for sure

This was in reference to Alabama shitting the bed against Florida State. And he's right. Grit, determination and strong wills still win the day, but you have to find the talented kids that still have that fire after getting the bag.

This is really the sad truth of college football right now, it is all about the NIL money and getting the right guys to invest in.  I thought UCLA really messed up giving all that money to Iamaleava and it sure hurt them this week.

It is really changing every college sport. look at women's softball where the Stanford pitcher who transferred to Texas Tech, because they gave her a million in NIL money completely changed both teams with Texas Tech making their first World Series final ever.
