Asante Samuel
#11
Have we seen any injury updates on Samuel? Everything I've read is he's willing to sign a one year prove it deal when he's medically cleared. He was supposed to have an update in July but we haven't heard anything. The neck injury bothers me even if cleared if it impacts his desire to make hard tackles but he's a talented player especially with a Defensive front that is surely going to cause chaos.

Apparently had a tryout with the Dolphins a week ago but did not sign with them.

Green Bay is supposedly in on him as well. My guess is there is still major questions on the health side.

Shaq Griffin is 30 and signed a one year 3 million dollar deal with Seahawks.

Unsure why Vikings said no thanks, cuz right now Griffin would've helped a lot. We'll see?

I don't think he would have helped, I thought he was garbage. Stephen Gilmore is also out there but I don't want him either.

I think BFlo's relentless pressure and confusion probably made our '24 DBs look a little better than they really were. The Vikings could still add secondary help after we see who hits the streets tomorrow. CB1 and 2 look solid. It's CB3 that is the big questions mark with the uncertainty surrounding Okudah, and then also Blackmon not really looking like the same guy he was his rookie season.
