But I don't think they are close on a new contract. JMO but I'm ok with Metellus but have never loved Metellus. I think Minnesota doesn't want to necessarily commit big money to him. I think its 50/50 that Darrisaw starts Game 1 on September 8th....that's basically 6 weeks from now. IMO he misses no more than 2 games worse case. Fries will be ready to go. |
