DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
#1
Not much discussion about this 6'5", 280 lb 5th round draft pick by the Vikings. 2nd best DT athleticism score at the Combine.

Overview
"He’s ready to do it, with the tools to do it, but is still learning how to do it. Ingram-Dawkins’ relative lack of experience shows up with inconsistent instincts in the run game and a lack of development as a rusher. However, he possesses an impressive blend of size and suddenness that allows him to attack blocks or shoot gaps. He’s a bender with excellent range and change of direction. He offers more flash than finish as a pass rusher, but has all of the tools to get after pockets when his hands and approach get trained up. He’s also scheme- and position-versatile with loads of upside, but he’s still developing and has a wider gap between his ceiling and floor relative to his fellow D-line prospects."

Has the upside and ability to be a perfect DE in the 3-4 alignment, also a nice changeup inside sporadically. My concern is the athleticism didn't turn into production on a talented Georgia team. If this kid can get some game snaps each game from like midseason on what a plus that would be heading into next season. Raw guy right now.

I read a few scouting reports that dinged him for being tweener. But if you play a 3-4, he's not a tweener at all. He's damn near a prototype 3-4 DE. That's why it might be a ilttle misleading to say he had the highest athleticism score among DTs. Because he's not really a DT.

Hopefully Allen and Hargrave coach him up. Fantastic opportunity to learn from two of the better iDL in the game.

Yeah, I'm sure they had to put him in a group and with his size they went DT. He's a 3-4 DE and fingers crossed he can develop toward that end and be a contributor.
