OT: The Waterfront

Premiered last night.  Filmed in my hometown and they actually had a scene where they panned over my house so had to watch.
It's on Netflix and first episode kept my interest albeit I was primarily interested in the location scenes.

added to the watchlist...

We just finished The Studio with Seth Rogen; very funny.
I'll recommend Mythic Quest too - funny and pithy. A sleeper.
Just started Murderbot, tbd

So we watched the first episode last night and I mentioned your post to my wife.
What was your hometown where it was filmed?  My wife asked.

Got halfway through one episode, going to pass. I recommend the TrainWreck documentary series, watched Toronto Mayor Rob Ford last time. Next is the infamous Poop Cruise.

Wilmington NC  Series filmed in Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach (10 minutes from Wilmington), and Southport 35 minutes away.
We've had a couple of series filmed here and some movies. Film industry making a resurgence here.
