Season Two Of Dallas! (Turner)

As long as he doesn’t lose quickness, I think another 13lbs isn’t too cumbersome.

Seems wrongheaded to me, but if that's what Flores wants, then get the kid to Carls Jr. He might know a little bit more about how his pieces fit together than I do. He sure knew exactly what he wanted in Greenard, who is 6-3, 263, by the way.

Good point. He might also be one of those guys who has a hard time keeping his weight up in season.

But its not 13 pounds.....247 to 265 is 19 pounds, on a 6'3" frame. And if Greenard is 263 lbs., I'll eat my hat. He looks like a linebacker, 250 lbs max.

I had it in my head he was 252 for some reason. Maybe they want him to play some 5T in pass rush situations.

He’d be about the same size as Patrick Jones II. Maybe it means less drop backs and more pass rush.

I think y'all are making too much of him adding some muscle. He's a 21 year old professional athlete. Vikings wanted him to add some strength in the off-season, and they were happy he added 15-ish pounds of good weight. If you saw him at OTAs, he still looks like a lean machine.

If anything, it shows this kid gets it. Coaches ask him to do something, he does it. Training the right way, doing what he needs to do to have himself in position to play a big role on this team in his second year.

Let's be excited the kid is ready to be unleashed.

He's young, that's for sure. But no matter how you slice it, adding almost 20 lbs of muscle probably isn't going to happen for Turner. He does look bigger than last year, but not a bunch which is probably better for his skill sets: 255 lbs. is probably his sweet spot.
