Vrabel not exactly happy with The Diva

But, Maye's development is going to hinge more on his mentor than it will on Vrabel.

Josh McDaniels and Ashton Grant will have a lot more to do with the development of Maye than Vrabel. If Maye is a good player, both of those guys will help him get there.

I'm sure we all remember the fact that Alex Smith had to learn 5 different offenses in his first 5 years in the NFL, and really didn't start developing until he was given some continuity. Both the Patriots and the Bears are asking their young QBs to learn a new offense this season. It's not a death sentence, but I do think it stunts development. Just happy the Vikings aren't in that boat.

I don’t think this bothers Vrabel that much. The worst bit is the media distraction sidelines whatever narratives you’re trying to establish. They’ll probably have to have a discussion about being more responsible in keeping these things out of the public eye. Like putting their phones in a lock box or something.

That said, I think this probably is more of a publicity stunt by Diggs and Cardi B than anything accidentally leaked.

The problem with having a defensive minded head coach is that your offensive staff frequently leaves if there’s a better career opportunity out there.  Very rarely does the HC leave.  Payton is the only HC I can think of that up and left his team for another job.  McVay is the other one who comes to mind as one who threatened to quit.  My brains a little fuzzy on the Bruce Arians situation.

McDaniels might be the type of OC that has been around the blocks enough times and failed that he may not be seen as a HC candidate though.

Which part?  Cardi B's big thick thigh and her associated drama or Poprocks?
