On second thought. Bengals continue to be the skinflints of the NFL. Players union needs to challenge this bull shit.

Expected nothing less from the Bengals org and ownership.

I have to think this violates the CBA. Best case they are negotiating in bad faith. If I’m the agent I put this on blast.

Can't believe the players are getting some heat for this. Hey Bengals, if you're the only team doing something, you're probably doing it wrong. Just spend the tiny sliver of your revenue to cover your rookies. The lack of development in camp, the potential of enduring bad blood between ownership and players, not to mention the coaches that want them there, the media ridicule, the bad rep among free agents....is it all worth the pennies you're saving?

Laughingstock franchise that's allegedly one of the AFC's better teams. Yikes.

So no excuse for the Brown's tightwaddedness (new word), but this owner/ownership group is the least wealthy of any other team....by a long shot. Their wealth comes almost exclusively from owning an NFL franchise. Just a FYI.
