ESPN: Why Kirk Cousins and Falcons offense aren't clicking

Yep, Tampa was missing a few defensive starters. When someone throws for 500 yards or close to it, that's usually the case.

When Kirk threw the pick with a minute and a half left I shut it off. Later saw pics of Kirk celebrating and absolutely could not figure out how that could've happened. I thought it was a prank or satire. Falcons not only won, but scored a field goal AND a touchdown? It doesn't add up.

Went back and watched the end. Wow. They got a little lucky on that spike though. That was a split second from being game over.

Atlanta has been more lucky than good in their wins this year.

One of the talking heads on ESPN, I believe it was Bart Scott, said before last night Kirk was believed to be solar powered ... he only played well during the day and couldn't play at night. So true during his tenure with the Vikings but he played well last night.

Kirk broke a Falcons franchise record throwing for 509 yards and 4 TDs last night against the Bucs. He’s gotten past his initial rusty rails it seems…

I watched the first half. That was some shitty coverage and not much pass rush by both teams

Give Kirko some time in the pocket and he'll clean your clock passing.

Should be a good match-up with them later this season!

I thought TB called a terrible game offensively in the 4th qtr. It looked old school to me.

Was rooting for Bucs, but you are right Sticky -- it helped the Vikings more to have them lose that game.

I hope it isnt, I hope to see the Kirk we saw against the Bills(?, not the JJ crazy ass catch game, before that) a few years ago where he got hit a couple times early and went to complete shit after that.  I want his return to USB to be something he never wants to remember or go through again.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Neither team played any defense in that game, it was embarrassing. Good for Kirko he got the win and 500 yards.

Honestly, its tough to not root for Kirk, he's such a down to earth, everyman type. Said after the game he 'was exhausted' and then yesterday said he didn't get home until 2:30 am, which is a big deal for him as its way past his bedtime, lol. Did an interview in his SUV outside a Waffle House with his son in the backseat.
