To be fair, he was trending upwards till last year. Depending on his contract situation, someone will get a nice reclamation project.
Agree. I'm not a huge Murray fan, but this is not Trey Lance here.

Maybe. But he's not a leader. He's not accurate. But I'm sure someone will give him a second chance.

He's signed for huge money through 2027. If they don't play him at all this year I honestly don't know if the Cardinals will be able to move him.
Even if a buying team thinks he can be a back-end top 10 QB once he's healthy (big if), they'll be paying him top 5-10 money. Plus whatever draft capital to acquire. All it takes is one (Atlanta? Tennessee?) but even if the Cards want to move Kyler, I'm skeptical on the demand he'll have. The return on picks will be minimal I think since the Cards will just want to get off the contract.

The ROI for the Cards will be pitiful - but rest assured, someone will take a chance again.

What Florio meant to say was "Keep Murray on the PUP list through the 2023 season to avoid any chance of accidentally winning a game."
Hasn't starting him been doing that?
That was my thought as well.

I will also add, the NFL/teams control their media releases, so this photo is no accident.

Drafting a QB in consecutive years in the first round. Ouch.

Is there a better currency in the NFL than quality QB prospects on rookie deals?  Unless you way way overspend like the niners,   I dont think that teams would be hurt to much unless they hang onto plan B for 2 long and he doesn't show much on tape.
