Boyd is a decent ST player, but I really think the Vikes weren't worried about resigning him.

Right? You expect turnover with a new defense, but the whole group is going to be different this year. Murphy, Booth and Evans could be a good trio, but the depth behind them is made up of fringe players. I'm surprised the Vikings haven't added a couple more in free agency.

We have the draft coming up then there will be another wave of free agency for teams to sign players/positions they were unable to address in the draft and with UDFAs. The Vikings definitely more CBs. I am sure they are aware of that.

There are a couple of vet press man CBs still available in Roc Ya Sin & Shaq Griffin.
