If they can increase the quality depth on this team, lower the drop offs on positions.  Breeland and Bradbury were NFL terrible last year, get better production, not great but average to good, those tight games swing your way.   This game comes down to inches, one or two plays a week when you have a enough premium talent to keep you around.

This is an 11+ win team and in the NFC, if we are at the level, we can win it all.   LA, Tampa, GB.  All 3 should see a decline this year due to age, roster changes, and star power lost.  An easier schedule, a new coaching staff sprinkled with some proven vets that has wrinkles not yet seen.

I think this team wins week 1 and 2, new coaches tend to upset favorites especially at home in the beginning of the year (think Tomasula vs us in 2015 SF opener).  A win vs a gelling and poor QB play Philly on the road.  That would be a nice way to kick off a season and set it on a strong course.

I respectfully disagree.  

We have a yuge talent gap in premium talent. 

Who's our All-Pros?
O - Cook at RB. altho RB may be the least important O position to have an All-Pro.
    - Jefferson at WR.  Bona-fide. 
    - who else is All-Pro/All NFC?
D - Hunter- when healthy
   - Kendricks
   - Smith (aging, at a position of lesser importance)
   - who else is All-Pro/All NFC?

We're not that good, fellas.  
We've MISSED AT THE TOP OF THE DRAFT, FOR YEARS. (reflected, by our roster) 

We missed at the top of the draft, again this year. 

Premium talent doesn't equal all pros.  How many teams have 4 all pros?  1, the Super Bowl Champs

A top 3 WR pairing, a top 5 RB group, a productive top 10 QB, a pair of quality young tackles
Hunter, Z. Smith, Kendricks, and aging but still top 10 safety

That's enough talent when healthy to be in every game.  It's the failures of our worst players that killed us.  Elevate terrible play to average at the center position, the rg position (Udoh), the CB position (Breeland) and you win 3 more games.  We were historically bad in protecting leads last year, that number will bounce back to the average with new talent and new coaching.

11-12 wins is good, that's where this team can and should be this year with health.
