Zimmer still got it as a defensive coach IMO.  No comment on the head coaching abilities.
IMO the key here was where Bynum started the play.  Zimmer so often lately brings his blitz from a muddled front where the OL and RBs try and account for every possible defender and typically dont try and help block leaving holes.. and out blitz has been struggling,  however this time Bynum started the play outside the run box and thus wasnt accounted for,  when Vigil abandons the middle and drops into coverage that signaled the center that his responsibility was eliminated and he went to help the OG leaving that big ass hole.  we need to utilize corner and safety blitzes more often if for no other reason than to keep opposing offenses honest in their assigned protection lanes which will help our DL in not being doubled so often,  if that center thought there was a chance that Bynum or Woods would come shooting down that gap he doesnt go help double our DT.
Actually, I would say the key is Kendricks.  He draws the RB for some reason. The stunt by 96 left 3 guys on EK and Bynum jets through the opening.

my bad it was Kendricks not the DT that the center slid to help, either way imo it was Vigil vacating the spot and the fact that left nobody pre snap for the center to occupy is what allowed that wide open lane for Bynum.
