Jones to Titans?
#11
There was less than a .01% chance this would happen. I remain curious as to what we are doing with our cap space.

O'Neill deal?
Hunter?
Harry?
All of the above?

A new deal for Hunter would very likely give us more cap space. He's at $17M, which is a big number. You could make him the highest paid edge in the NFL and cut that number in half if you wanted to.

Harry's a different story. He doesn't have many years left to put money into. Probably wise to give him a new deal but keep his cap number for '21 close to the same.

O'Neill is the one they'll need space for. This is a good time to sign him. There are 64 starting tackles in the NFL. O'Neill is considered top 10 as a run blocker and middle of the pack as a pass blocker. Those are decent numbers, but not the kind that will break the bank. If the Vikings extend now, they could have another Hunter deal. Get an ascending player at a bargain rate for a couple of years before he explodes.

I know some are really high on him,  i just get a feeling that we are really dodging a bullet here.
It's not even about Julio himself to me.  The Vikings just don't use 3WR enough to trade a high draft pick for one. Let alone pay $15 mil to be on the bench half the time.
where have I heard that before?  :p
