Using the "Tucker Carlson defense,” Powell's legal team claims that “reasonable people” would not take her claims about widespread election fraud as fact.
Really? So millions of Americans jump into rabbit holes and detach themselves from reality, their families and their senses, and hundreds storm the nation's capital in an armed insurrection that cost the lives of 5 people and the freedom of hundreds more who now face prison terms….all because they believed you and your idiot client that the election was "stolen."
Millions, in fact, still believe that. And now you're saying no “reasonable person” should have believed you? Well, you're right about that. No REASONABLE person DID believe you. But y’know what? That's not your audience and you know it. Have fun in prison, psycho.
lol, 'reasonable people'.....
Lying, deceitful and manipulative attorney, imagine that.
Powell and Lin Wood; one of the remaining few who were part of that Admin's inner circle.
Frightening stuff.

Especially when you think about those on this forum who believed her claims and paraded them as facts.
You just cant make this stuff up.
Dominion now going straight to the beehive. Curious if Fox will use the "Tucker" defense. It worked for Tucker. Judge agreed that no reasonable person would believe Tucker Carlson. Remains to be seen if it works for Powell. Will Fox defend itself by saying "no reasonable person" would believe Fox News?
Dominion Voting sues Fox for $1.6B over 2020 election claims Dominion argues that Fox News, which amplified inaccurate assertions that Dominion altered votes, “sold a false story of election fraud in order to serve its own commercial purposes, severely injuring Dominion in the process,” according to a copy of the lawsuit obtained by The Associated Press.
“The truth matters. Lies have consequences,” the lawsuit said. “Fox sold a false story of election fraud in order to serve its own commercial purposes, severely injuring Dominion in the process. If this case does not rise to the level of defamation by a broadcaster, then nothing does.”

That defense puts her, Powel and other lawyers in jeopardy with the Bar associations and courts if it is accepted. She has a case in Michigan, with her license on the line, right now making just the opposite claim. A lawyer is bound to present only evidence they believe to be true so this will be fun to watch. She may have been all in on a pardon, call 1800-betsoff.
