Tennessee is a right to work state, so it's not a skilled trade and there is no apprenticeship requirements.  Not sure why the State is required to have their fingers in it.
Pun intended? Wink

might be more to do with their dept of health making sure those working in the industry are moitored and healthy than just wanting to really regulate it.
Oh sure, yeah get pragmatic on this, but when it comes to other public health or safety issues where do you draw the line for government participation?
I am not getting anything on this,  i couldnt give 2 shits about what tennessee does regarding licensing of sex workers or not,  i was simply speculating as to why they may be taking more control here than with other occupational choices.

In all honesty, she's an adult and can do what she wants "with her own body".  Most prostitutes, stunt performers, tattoo artists, and professional eaters can say the same.
But to bloviate on and on about how "empowering" it is for her or how she is "honoring her body" is pure, unadulterated new-age clap-trap. Listen, hon...you're young, got the bod and looks and are turning a trick to make a buck.  Whether with...or without another actually there...same-same.
I was gonna say I complete agree - being an adult film star bothers me a lot less than going on like a Mike Bloomberg ad about it.

I didn't read the articles Wink but that seems an apt description for what I would expect.  Bottom line, people will say what they need to convince themselves of what they think they need.

I heard a saying once. One does not get into porn one ends up in porn. She just blew that saying out of the water. Not like this girl doesn't have options
