The Lakers will waive DeMarcus Cousins (left ACL), according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com.The Lakers needed to waive someone to make room for Markieff Morris, and they choose Cousins over Troy Daniels. Just days ago, Cousins had been praising the Lakers and mentioned how he wanted to come back for the playoffs, but he won't play a single game in the purple and gold. Cousins has struggled to stay healthy since his Achilles tear with the Pelicans, and chances are there's not going to be much of a market for him this summer.
