Preseason game #2, 9pm CST start, and I'm still up watching it... 

In any case:

1. Fruechte (sp?) - has he played himself off the team?

2. Bowers - really liking this guy. I know he's been talked about, but thought I'd throw another kudos his way.

3. Sirles - fun heads up play to catch that pass and put 5 yds receiving in the books. Lol!

Otherwise, just bored, life is good, hope I can get back to posting more!

Well, at least SOMEONE is still up and ready to talk football!
I agree about Fruechte... but Bowers needs to learn how to play the run better.  I think he gave up at least 1 (if not more) long runs by abandoning his responsibilities.  But, he's young- and he'll learn.  What he can't "learn", though, is the God-given talent that he has.  It's exciting to think about the 3-man DE rotation we're going to have in a couple years.
Maybe if Sirles had blocked anyone he wouldn't have been able to make the catch!  But, overall, I still like Sirles to make the team.  He has too much position flexibility and shown too much effort to allow him to be let go.
