More pretender than contender in the NFC
#1
No other way to look at it. Disappointing play last night, especially offensively. Not to pile on too much but the Chicago game is no gimme next Sunday. I think they are what they are, a #6 seed in a pretty good NFC. Green Bay has shown twice they are the better team. As Kendricks said post-game, let this sting and linger a little bit as team. If they can use it as fuel to improve heading into the playoffs, great. But I wouldn't count on it. You can see at times the offensive line improvement is smoke and mirrors.

I'm not going to go full-blown ape shit this morning, but I just feel more disappointed then angry. Was hopeful the team could make a statement last night at home. Nope. Feels like very familiar territory unfortunately.

10 wins and not one to point to and say that its proof that this team deserves to be in the playoffs with nawlins Seattle or san Fran.

Dunno, the Chicago game was definitely fuel for improved offensive play.  If they can get Dalvin back, get Thielen involved, then maybe they can right the ship on offense.  The defense looked great, so there is that.
But yes, the disappointment is heavy.

Funny, i have joked that I have done the same for my boys.  But hey, maybe it builds character.  They know not to trust anyone with their glory, if you want it done right, go out and do it themselves.
