Scrumptious... what an underrated word.
So who's the whipping boy now?

Quote: @greediron said:Cousins was a bit risk averse in the first half. He was checking down and continued playing conservative until the score dictated, he couldn't anymore. He also had, I think Mattison, open right in front of him, down the middle, on the final 4th down play, but elected to throw into blanket coverage instead. Refs didn't make a call. Ball game over. But Cousins also did a lot of good things to keep the team in the game until the end. He certainly didn't lose the game. But once again he didn't win it either. He didn't come anywhere close to being the whipping boy for this loss. Rhodes stands out as the individual player that hurt the team the most. Hopefully he will get squared away against Detroit. Don't hear so much negative about Elflien the last couple games. Appears he is playing better or keeping a low profile!

This game was mostly lost in the trenches. The defensive line could apply no pressure and were continually pushed back 2 or 3 yards on run plays. The offensive line didn’t open run lanes and allowed a lot of pressure on Cousins.
Beaten on both sides of the ball. |
