So, only ONE cut-down day this year?

And it's at the end of the pre-season? Did I hear that right?

If so, the repercussions are big and the scrambling at the end of pre-season will be un-precedented!

That's the plan, I believe. I know Zimmer mentioned that he likes this change very much.

Yup, one cut down...That 4th preseason game will have a little more meaning with so many players still competing...going from totally meaningless to meh, I'll watch...

Rick and Zimmer better have a case of 5-hour Energy under their desks after the final preseason game...  gonna be a long night!

I guess on the flip-side, teams will have the chance to better scrutinize their own on-the-fence players? 

What in the world precipitated this move???

I heard about that. Going to be a big change, and yet another "big event" for the NFL to promote. Released players' values will be harder to gauge since all will be thrown onto the market at the same time.
