He missed 4 kicks in practice today, but then again, so did Vedvik so...  :#
So, Vedvik will make the team because he cost the Vikes a 5th rounder.  He's not punting better than Wile, and he's certainly not kicking better than Bailey.

Zimmer needs to figure out how to get a well rounded team.  His kicking team units have been a mess since he's been HC.

With the Viking kicking issues, I shouldn't laugh... but I did - lol!  =)

Hmmm, Matt Bryant just tweeted that he's flying to Atlanta to kick for them today. Has Walsh already fucked it up?

The big reason the Falcons are turning to Bryant is because their kicking situation has gotten ugly this preseason. In four games, Tavecchio has gone 4 of 8 on field goals, although three of those misses came from 50 or more yards. With Tavecchio struggling, the Falcons brought in Blair Walsh, but that quickly turned into a disaster when Walsh missed 4 of 9 kicks during his first practice with the team

Yeah, just read they are having an open kicking competition between Walsh, 2 other guys and now Bryant. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Blair.

Well there went my hope he would be good enough to break their hearts during the season or playoffs.  Guess that "thrive on pressure" has grown to include preseason practice.
