Vikings are ‘Ready to Run’ in 2019

Looking ahead to the 2019 season, CBS Sports’ Ben Gretch expects five NFL teams to pass more than they did last year, while four teams are “ready to run” and implement a more balanced attack.

I'm hoping we are top 5-10 in rushing attempts and not 27th like last year...would make a world of difference for the D and effectiveness of play action...

Yup looking at the 19 schedule:
Rogers Stafford Matty Ice Wentz Mahomes Wilson Keeping them on the sideline more than on the field with a good running game seems like a solid proposition.

Just don’t go overboard one way or another. I want to see an attacking offense that takes what the defense gives you.

We were #2 in rushing attempts in 2017, and that worked pretty well. While being only #23 in yards per carry. If 2019 can get both stats in the top 15 that would be a big help.
