This is correct,  it was LA or nothing for his wife and they did turn down better money to sign there.

Kind of like those that still fawn over what could have been with Drew Brees,  his agent said at the time that he was only considering warm climates with a beach...I dont think minnetonka counts, and certainly lacking the warm weather in minny.
