I think it was more than one scout. The way Pauline wrote it, it sounded like it may have come from Blesto. Who knows. Anyway, Risner's all over the board. I think the reason for that is that he's a tackle that doesn't have NFL tackle length. I think the Senior Bowl people will probably put him at guard and that will be the end of the confusion.

So far these are the OL prospects that I've taken a look at and that I like:

Cody Ford
Jonah Williams
Trey Adams

Free Agency might not yield much due to high demand for anyone decent.  Also, any big FA moves for OL will pretty much guarantee Barr AND Richardson's departure, IMHO.

This OL is not that far off.   They lost Berger and Easton and had no good answer up the middle.  I thought Remmers would hold up better at RG than he did.  The center of the OL was not physical, and teams figured it out.  It seems like Shurmer had a knack for disguising the line's weakness with more Zones and Counters, and also Keenum was very wiley at pre-snap reads and getting throws out quickly.  He threw a lot of rainbows that Kirk would never let go of.

Oh, Yeah. And, O'Neill was a steal late in The 2nd.  This line needs another large physical athlete.  Cody Ford might be the Hernandez we all wanted Last Year.  He carries more length than Hernandez and is athletic enough to play some Tackle.

I think O'Neill ultimately goes to the left side.  He's got the feet.  Maybe now is the time to go out and get the best RT?

Check out his tape vs UCLA
