Mike Tomlin on New Le'Veon Bell Contract: 'I'm Excited and Hopeful'
#1
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is hopeful the team and star running back Le'Veon Bell can come to terms on a new contract shortly, suggesting there could be news on that front as soon as Monday.
"Obviously, we want to get the deal done," he told Bruce Rader of WAVY. "He wants to get the deal done. Everybody has said that. Now it's just about the negotiators getting in the room and doing what it is they need to do. I'm excited and hopeful. Hopefully we'll have some exciting news Monday."

Big contract, but Bell is much more versatile a RB and vital to their offense than just about any other in the NFL.

For as good as Antonio Brown is...  Bell is the guy that takes that offense to another level.

The Steelers are 32-17 with him on the field and just 11-10 without him (includes playoffs).

Wow.
He's unreal. The best RB in the NFL.

I'm very excited to see Dalvin Cook. His running ability, speed, elusiveness and hands are top-shelf. Strong build. He's still only 22 years old, 23 next month.
