Couple good points:I say nevermind the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" talk.  This is a new QB, new season.

Classroom to the field - Cousins understands Defenses: Alignment, assignment and adjustment.(If you consider that he's going against the best defense in the NFL every day in practice, he can only improve with more reps)

Ball gets out fast. There's that internal clock in the QB head that says "now"

Watch his shoulders against the Giants. LBs and DBs are taught to watch a QB's shoulders to align their target.Cousins shoulders align...Landon Collins reacts to it, then Cousins re-aligns (Very subtle coaching point) but it effectively serves like a pump fake (without the pump)

Yep, great points.  Cousins has the tools.  The Vikings have the talent.  It should be a fun season.  As Nate says, the pressure is there, but there are a lot of key pieces around Cousins to help alleviate that pressure.  A key cog is Flip, IMO.

On paper, this may be one of the best teams the Vikings have ever had.  With a #1 defense only getting better in adding Hughes and a top 10 offense upgrading its QB?
