A pair of Twin Cities sports venues are vying for Sports Business Journal’sannual facility of the year award.
U.S Bank Stadium and Target Center are among six finalists for a 2018 Sports Business Award, which are handed out Wednesday in New York City. Other facilities in the running are Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana, SunTrust Park in Atlanta and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Here’s what the Sports Business Journal/Sports Business Daily, cousin publications to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, wrote about the two Minneapolis facilities.

Ok...is there anything they won't have a "of the year" for. I guess it's a nice recognition for the crews that keep the toilets clean.

Former owner of the Red Wings and Tigers, Mike Ilich also owned Little Caesar's.  He passed away a few years ago.
