That is utterly amazing and awful.  No QB has started all the games in consecutive seasons since Fran?

Yeah, a lot of bad luck and bad timing in that.  Any time they've thought they had their franchise guy it either burned out or injury impaired their career.  Of course it's during those draft seasons when they've thought they had their guy that the elite QBs have come in.  Way too many years of back-ups and short-term piecemeal guys that either worked for a little while or not at all.

I bet that is not all that uncommon throughout the league.  When Fran played the NFL was much different.  In 12 seasons Aaron Rogers has only started all the games consecutively twice, Cam Newton only once.  There are the Brees, Brady and Ryans out there but after that not too many.

This guy is sour on the deal - granted I have my issues with Cousins, but good grief this guy is a dick.

I think he's right about one thing: it is the stupid season. But what's a team to do, not partake? Easier said than done when you don't have a franchise QB. And you do need to spend to near the cap max as NFL policy.

But to his point mostly, I agree.
