He's been impressive for a 7th rounder, he's on the team and he has an NFL career. 

I thought he was going to have the starting UT position by mid-season, but he could not beat out Tom Johnson and that is probably not a real good thing.  Hit the ceiling already?

He played the majority of snaps next to Linval in 2016 and Tom Johnson is much more effective as a situational pass rusher. They would absolutely like to bring him back. Issue is that 27 year old interior D-lineman make good money on the open market. Another team could easily overpay to steal him away.

Shamar is just ok. If someone wants to overpay him, let them. What about Johnson from Iowa? I thought the coaches liked him. Need to see what he can do in his second year.

Yeah, I don't think that I'd overpay for Stephen. I felt he was a solid player, but if we could bring in a guy like Sheldon Richardson or Muhammad Wilkerson, then I'd move on from him.
