My response's I made on another Viking Board
#1
1st i would like to say i've been browsing this board and 3 other Viking boards every since Case took over the team. Just trying to see what the coaches were saying and responses from the fans. I must say I was gratified to see some of the fans realized the value of Case and it's not the measurable's the NFL guru's say they have to have to be successful but from the hard work he puts into being  better than the day before. The drive to not fail his teammates and friends. These articles reflect the belief I have in Case. I know it's hard to understand since nobody here witnessed the things he did in Houston. Luckily I was fortunate to see it with my on 2 eyes. Like bringing us back from a 30 point deficit starting the 4th quarter. Us fans had a peace knowing we were about to see some more magic from Case. I understand the concern you guys have about signing Case. It's common sense. I've seen a lot of football in my time and Millions wasted on a player and watch them either have an injury,  ex.  Terry Bridgewater , or they can't maintain that high level of performance. I won't put all 3 responses in one page. i'll put individual pages for them. I will put the Articles from the News media from Texas and another article from the Star-Tribune here.

Some of
these back up about my perspective on Case Keenum. Without watching Case
perform in college I understand the hesitation some have. I also have seen some
understand the intangibles Case has. If after watching him bring his team back
2 times with 3 or 4 minutes left in the game, in his 1st playoff game being
calm and enjoying the moment, people that is what all champions have. A calm
presents with fire burning in his belly.

Wow.  Thank you. The paper city magazine is a must read.

How can people overlook the 4 20 yard passes with the game on the line.

I want him starting next year.

Awesome.

"Keenum leads the Vikings on two scoring drives in the last two minutes of an NFL playoff game, hits huge throws in both of them. His sideline pass to Adam Thielen that sets up the field goal that first gives Minnesota back the lead is a thing of beauty. If this is a miracle, it’s a self-made one.
Somehow, someway. That is Case Keenum. It always has been."

"Fifteen times a human has thrown for 5,000 yards or more in a college season. Eleven quarterbacks make up that list. Case Keenum is responsible for three of those 5,000-yard seasons. Three of the top fourteen passing seasons in FBS history belong to one guy: the undersized, no arm-strength, athletically challenged Case Keenum.
Do you like scoring? Keenum is responsible for three of the top 20 passing TD seasons of all-time. Keenum's 155 passing touchdowns are the most in FBS history ahead of EVERY QUARTERBACK YOU'RE THINKING OF. The next closest touchdown thrower needs a baker's dozen more scores to catch Case.
Keenum is the FBS career record holder for completions, passing yards, touchdowns, 300+ yard games, total yards, and most touchdowns responsible for. He's the FBS record holder for 5,000-yard seasons, 4,000-yard seasons and holds the record for most 300 yard games in a season with 14.
This brings us to wins, the ultimate mark of a quarterback. In Keenum's time at Houston, the Cougars won 76% of their games. Houston won ten or more games twice and the CUSA Western Division title twice and appeared in four bowl games. Further proof is evident in 2010 when Keenum missed most of the season with a knee injury when Houston dropped to 5-7 without him. Houston won 51 of Keenum's 67 starts.
You can make a pretty air-tight argument that Keenum is the greatest college quarterback of all-time. Not bad for a short guy with no arm strength who wasn't fast enough."
