Drew Stanton Reportedly Played with Fully Torn ACL This Season
#1
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton reportedly played the 2017 season with a torn ACL in his knee.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Stanton had been playing with "a thread" of an ACL before it finally gave out.
Rapoport added Stanton is not planning to have surgery because he's learned how to manage the situation.

That's unreal. Wish him a speedy recovery.

No surgery to repair a torn ACL? How does he pass a physical?  That knee has to be completely unstable. That he survived 2 weeks that way does not mean he can make it through a full season. Is he risking long term / permanent injury?  I suppose he has received medical advice on this. But it sounds crazy to me.

Wonder what kind of brace he has been wearing?
