Wasn't it last year against the Cowboys that Bradford got hit on the head - maybe during a 2-point conversion or a 4th down play? Whatever it was, it was the QB with the ball getting smacked on the head. And no call. Because when it is the Cowboys on the one hand and the Vikings on the other, better to opt in favor of the Cowboys. And we don't even want to talk about when we are playing GB.
Zimmer is supposed to be a no-nonsense straight shooter who tells it like it is. In fact, that may have been part of why it took so long for him to get a HC job. So just as he will not sit still for players not doing their jobs, he should not sit back and let the refs screw his team without calling them out. Not for every missed call. Just the egregious stuff. And do it win or lose so you don't look like a sore loser. If the ref apologizes for missing the call, OK, we all make mistakes. No need to be a dick. But if there is a double standard or some notion that we have not earned it, screw that. Call them out. Pay the fine.
