So I thought Shurmur was relatively conservative today...

Agreed @1Vikefan.  Saw Case trotting out wide and thought WTF are they doing now?  Hate that shit.

plays like that are fine if you need something to create momentum... but when things are going your way... WTF.  maybe if they just want to put it on tape to set up a different play down the road I guess?

maybe there is a version where Murray throws a backwards pass to Case and he hits a streaking Diggs for a TD?

We did that with Bradford last year, right?  And I will say that Shurmur has done well mixing up the play calling so I won't complain too much.

Sometimes they run plays to set things up for later in the season and/or give opposing defenses something else to prepare for, but my Murray lining up under center. They should probably burn that play along with the wildcat section of the playbook.

& I remember the CB leveling Bradford immediately after the snap too ! It was like this free shot at a player you are not supposed to touch

450+ yards of offense doesn't seem conservative. If Forbath doesn't yak 2 kicks, they score 30 points.
You don't just tack on 6 if he makes those kicks.  If he makes the first the game changes field position changes.

It seemed like we just wore them out, kept pounding on them.  But that strip on the goal line was probably a top 3 play of the year.
