Its time to take care of the F#&*%$G Lions...

We are a better team now than when we first played them and our offense is also more diversified. Cook was a big part of our game plan early in the season, and Keenum was only entering his third start at QB in our first meeting with the Lions. With Bradford's injury coupled with Cook out for the year, there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding this team. It's amazing how everything has changed. You have to give a lot of credit to Keenum's leadership and what Shurmur has done to adjust. We are far less predictable on offense.  With our improved Oline play, we are creating a balanced attack that defenses have to account for. We are no longer a one-dimensional team.

Huge game Thursday, damn I hate Thursday (even Thanksgiving) games.  It is time to stop the Kitties win streak against the Vikes though.

Important game just because of Detroit's remaining schedule after Thursday: if the Lions close the gap to 1 game with a win against Minnesota and the tie breaker, watch out. Might be the difference in Minnesota being a #2 seed or possibly a #4 or #5 seed wildcard.

thats the best part of being a good team in the thick of things... almost every game down the stretch is the next most important game of the year.

Notice that it has been our lack of offense points in the last 3 losses.  Our defense has given up 14, 16 and 22 in OT.

Our offense is clicking much better now then in any of those last 3 losses so we just need our Defense to hold Stafford back as usual and not lose the TO battle.

8-0 if we score over 10

Yes sir, just embrace the fun and excitement of being a good team and having every game be important. I'm not going to fret about what might happen in a negative way, just one game at a time and know we won't win every one that's left on the schedule.....but who knows? Wink
