Vikings 'discussing' sending Bradford to IR

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Vikings are "discussing" putting Sam Bradford (knee) on injured reserve.

Teddy Bridgewater will be activated at some point this week, forcing the Vikings to open a roster spot. Bradford has tried every non-surgical treatment so far, but he is reportedly visiting Dr. James Andrews this week. With things seemingly not getting better, it would not be surprising if he opted for surgery. If the Vikings decide to keep Bradford on the active roster, they could waive third-string QB Kyle Sloter to make room for Bridgewater.

it makes sense, he cant even practice although i will say i would keep him on the roster if there is a chance of him playing. If healthy he likely is our best QB this year

So let's say he doesn't go on IR and the move is made to Teddy who plays decent,  but still not like what we saw from Sam in week one....do we then switch to Sam when he feels ready again to give it a go?
