Darrisaw on the trade block?
#11
If there's anything that stinks worse than the old 'anonymous poster' source, I can't think of it. And no offense, Purple Daily is garbage IMO. Its just way to convenient as fodder for content which they desperately need. Some fans really love this stuff, but as we all know being around the block in the offseason of silliness, its almost always horseshit. And how is this not the dumbest idea ever? That's rhetorical, by the way. I believe I saw an Instagram post from Darrisaw a week or so ago showing a picture of the Viking's gym in Eagan, showing he's back to the grind of working out. I'd put money on a big rebound season for Darrisaw in '26.

Maybe Zygi can drop off Darrisaw to his new destination on his jet, while picking up Joe Burrow on the way back. Bigfoot approves this message.  Rolleyes

Per Google Darrisaw has missed 25 games in his career. Might be additional games added to list he didnt finished. He has had ankle, concussion a few times and blew out his knee. Kwesi wants prove he can go to another team become injury free and a all pro. Kwesi thinks Ingram and Bradbury didnt fully prove his incompetence

^ This.

If there's any truth to this—and I doubt there is—it's more about what's going on in his head than his knee. There were some real puzzling moments with him this year, where he appeared to be signed off to play by the medical staff and then just chose not to.

I read an article the other day that mentioned how he came out of the Cleveland game at the end when we needed him most. KOC was asked about it and said he was on a managed "pitch count." If that were really the case, wouldn't you limit his snaps toward the beginning or middle of the game, and not at the end when you need him most?

I think it was a conditioning thing with him,  he looked so gassed even early in games on any drive that lasted more than a few plays.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Why would we do this?  Why not throw Jefferson into the mix and see if they'll give us a 2027 first for him?

I feel like I would rather have half of Darrisaw than do this trade.

Agree.    All Pro caliber left tackles don't grown on trees and the Vikings offense suffers when he goes out.

"Alright Mr. Adofo-Mensah, what's our offseason plan?"

"Well Mr. Wilf, first we're gonna trade Christian Darri--"
