Steelers expected to hire top offensive line coach

In what's been an eventful day for Mike McCarthy's coaching staff with the Pittsburgh Steelers, another hire is expected to be made.

According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, the Steelers are reportedly set to hire offensive line coach James Campen, who served under McCarthy with the Packers from 2007-2018.

Hey, I think thats a good hire, unless the dude is like 75 by now?

I always felt like those GB lines collectively did very well over many years.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Like it or not I taught my boys to "hold" on every play. (Tip of the Spear Training - Scott Peters - Patriots, Browns, Bengals)

There are ways to do it where it will rarely draw a flag...
Footwork and hips are ESSENTIAL on the strike, but...hands inside your opponents frame, one leveraging pads (spine angle), the other "steering", elbows tight. The goal is to use your oppositions pads against them - target the lower cut of the pad (solar plexus) and control their pads - where their pads go - so goes their spine & balance. Keep pads parallel to opposition (and that's footwork) If hands are outside the frame Ref's will call it

a clever DL will counter so you have to be ready to "re-fit" quickly.

Everson Griffen when asked if Packers tackle David Bakhtiari was good: "He hold good."
