==============================================

Reichard was recognized Saturday as a First-Team All-Pro by The Associated Press a day after he celebrated his 25th birthday and two days after he was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for December/January.

He joined Blair Walsh in 2012 and Gary Anderson in 1998 as the only Minnesota kickers so far to receive the best-in-class distinction that is a First-Team All-Pro. Jan Stenerud (1984) and Fuad Reveiz (1994) were Second-Team All-Pros. During an indelible campaign, Reichard converted 33 of 35 field-goal attempts and all 31 extra points.

The kicker executed each one of his 22 tries under 50 yards. His two misses occurred on swings from beyond 50, one of which, mysteriously, swerved off course. Many believe it ricocheted off a Skycam wire in the Week 5 game in London. Ultimately, he rewrote the Vikings record books with 11 50-yarders, topping Walsh's franchise mark of 10 in 2012.

Reichard's range overall was as excellent as any kicker in 2025; Brandon Aubrey and Chase McLaughlin booted 11 FGs from 50-plus, as well, but no one had more. Reichard's accuracy also was elite. He made 94.3 percent of his attempts to finish third among qualifying kickers after Nick Folk and Eddy Piñeiro — both went 28-for-29 (96.6%); the latter, however, missed four extra-points.

A sixth-round draft pick in 2024, Reichard was electric to watch, upholding his nickname "Will the Thrill."

Shortly before the season finale, Special Teams Coordinator Matt Daniels rhapsodized about Reichard's portfolio, which included a league-record-tying 59-yard field goal at Soldier Field going against the wind.

"I think the — not really unfortunate part — but we really haven't had those ice-in-the veins kind of walk-off winning field goals yet in his career," Daniels said. "But in moments when we needed him the most, whether it's to go up by three with two minutes left in the game (Reichard owns four FGs in the last 2:00 since 2024) and the defense has got to get a stop, or it's to put ourselves in a position to basically go up another possession … he's been able to do that and capitalize on those big moments."

"I think it's just a credit [to] who this guy is," Daniels added, noting Reichard is wired the right way. "He does an unbelievable job of communicating with 'Mr. Wright' (Ryan Wright) and 'Po' (DePaola) just in terms of how he likes things to be [operated]. He's very direct, which you really appreciate."
