McCarthy needs a decent game today for obvious reasons

Nice to see, now he needs to build on it incrementally. I'd like to see some consistency develop as its just one game. Hopefully KOC has learned and tweaked something in his mentorship so JJ isn't overthinking constantly. Let him get a better grasp of a simplified offense, then expand incrementally.

I remember watching Phillip Rivers in the Senior Bowl. To this day, the most impressive Senior Bowl performance I've ever seen. I thought if they could fix his Luis Tiant-like delivery, he could be one of the greats. To their credit, they left it alone.

I think shelving JJ's mechanics until the offseason was a good move. JJ's best days are ahead of him. Almost forgotten in the shut out was the fact that the defense held Jayden Daniels to 78 yards passing through nearly 3 quarters.

Daniels has been out for 3 games with a bum elbow and they rushed him back and reinjured it.  That was not prime Daniels.
