Trevor Lawrence?

I've watched enough Trevor Lawrence to be underwhelmed this season. His chemistry with Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter has been a work in progress. Lots of inaccurate balls going their way.

So the most catchable balls being dropped are thrown inaccurately.

That’s…something I didn’t know

It’s hard to say Trevor Lawrence is overrated when more and more people leap from his bandwagon as the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4) get set to host the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3) on Sunday.

But we definitely can say he’s overpaid at $55 million a year, which is tied with Joe Burrow, Josh Allen and Jordan Love for No. 2 all time behind Dak Prescott ($60 million).

The Jags started 4-1 but have lost three of four, while the Chargers have won three straight. Lawrence’s passer rating as a rookie in 2021: 71.9. His passer rating as a $55-million-a-year player: 79.3. Is this guy ever going to turn the corner we all expected him to?

Disaster season in Jacksonville unless they can somehow turn things around in a hurry.

Before the year I had lots of optimism for their offense with a new coach. I believed Liam Coen could finally "unlock" Trevor Lawrence. Plus, now they had #1 pick Travis Hunter and last year's rookie stud Brian Thomas Jr. at WR. On paper they seemed primed for a come-up.

Instead it's been the same old mess in Jacksonville. If the season were to end today, I have no idea what they'd be thinking about their QB. Is Lawrence's contract bad enough to sink the coach after this year or next too? Maybe
