Post-game thoughts vs Chargers

But I have a long-standing issue with their poor hirings and general approach to football team building.  I've been underwhelmed and could cite a lot of reasons why but I'm tired of it all right now.

And yeah venting frustration is a real thing that people really need to do sometimes, including me.  I honestly started to see stuff in camp back in August that made me pause and I posted that I was off the bandwagon and back to feeling like under 8 wins.

Unless JJM is some kinda star that we haven't really seen outside of one quarter, and he can actually stay on the field with a patchy oline and a HC who frankly really comes up short strategically imo, and is going to make him stand behind that line waiting for long developing routes while he takes mucho sacks...it's just hard to see.

Then you look at the schedule and where are the wins?  Maybe home versus Chicago or Washington.  The rest looks very hard.

So yeah, I'm venting, here and elsewhere.  It's either laugh, cry or die with this team, cuz it sure ain't making runs at a title.  Confused

The team is betting big on it. I still trust KO and think he's a great coach who's been dealt a bad hand this season-- some of it by his own making for sure. I saw Mike Zimmer teams constantly wilt in situations like this. I am interested to see what this team does but the season is far from over.

If KO says McCarthy is the guy, that's still enough for me to believe he's the guy.

I think i said last year we weren't as good as our record and I think this year kind of proves it out, we get a tougher schedule and look like a completely different team when we should be statistically better personnel wise.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Most of last years free agents exceeded expectation. This years bunch, and some of last years, have been disappointing, to say the least.
Also Darnold was really good in retrospect, despite the end of the year meltdowns. There is also no doubt those meltdowns came with the O-lines collapsing as well.
I would have never thought this years team would be worse, but they are!
