I think the Vikings are going to try to keep Addison through their proverbial "3-year window" which is '25, '26 and '27. His 5th year option isn't until 2027. However, he's eligible for an extension after this season, so that's when things might get dicey. Addison has a strong case to make that he'd be a WR1 on several teams. Over the last two seasons, his 20 TDs ranks 5th in the NFL among WRs.
The Vikings would be wise to watch how the Bengals manage the quality of their roster after paying 2 receivers top 10 money. The advantage the Vikings have is that they're not paying their QB top money like they are. JJ's eligible for an extension in 2027 and his 5th year option is 2028.
We need at least one Lombardi by then.
