Eh...Reid and his system/staff are big reasons why Mahomes got to where he is, as Reid's time in Philly was a horror show for the NFC.

KOC worked wonders with Darnold, no argument. That said, though, the supporting cast is arguably better than KC's been able to retain. I know that I struggle to remember many people in the Chiefs' offense besides PM and that dude Taylor Swift chews on. All the skin-of-the-teeth wins by that bunch last season were pretty telling.
Wishing a great season for the team, Especially Mundt and Kwenkeu! Big Grin

I'll be blunt. This is the best overall coaching staff that I remember in the last 20-30 years. The only reason I don't go farther back is my memory. LOL

Bud Grant with the purple people eaters defense and Jerry Burns offense gave us Vikings the expectation they could win it all for many years in a row. They failed but came close. That's the best coaching staff the Vikings ever had. They were the lowest paid team in the league and Bud got the best out of them.
But this is certainly the best they have had for the last 20 or 30, like you said.
They have had some great coaches, such as Brian Billick, Tony Dungy, and Dennis Green.
But what I think is different today is the commitment of ownership, to hire the coaches necessary to be a competitive team.
And the Vikings have a wealth of good coaches right now.
I expect good things are on the horizon!

Amazing when you consider we used 4 QBs in 2023.
