I know Rypien is very highly thought of in the building. Brosmer has an uphill battle.

Rypien will be 29 years old in July, not sure if that is a plus or minus. Brosmer seems like a gamer....thicker sturdy kid. I guess it depends how quickly he develops, but I would also agree that its an uphill battle although QB3 should be up for grabs and a developmental type for the spot. I mean, at this point Rypien has proven to not be capable of QB2 so maybe see if there's more upside with Brosmer. Brent has hit his ceiling....if they thought more highly of him he'd be QB2.

I think KOC and McCown really like Rypien in the room, specially true with 2 young QBs as 1 and 2. Is he the big brother for the youngster to lean on? JJM is 22 and Howell is 24. Brosmer also 24 but with zero NFL experience.

Don't know if he will be cut or make the practice squad. But according to JJ, Max can sing! Check it out.

The more I dig into Rypien's background and stats, the more I like him as QB2.
I think Sam Howell is probably gonna be odd man out.  It's just not clicking for him and I'm not hearing any chit chat about how great he is doing, whereas, KOC has already talked about Brosmer's football IQ (and singing ability?).

Also, he is already 29, and he's been on the roster less than a year (signed last August).  He's got a full year of learning the offense (vs. Howell), to go along with stints at four different NFL teams since he was signed as an UDFA by Denver back in 2019.

My prediction:
QB1 - JJM
QB2 - Rypien
QB3/Development - Brosmer
Cut - Howell

I could definitely see this happening.
